Project
Management Unit
PR
set up a Project Management Unit (PMU) led by a Project
Director exclusively for GFATM projects. The PMU is situated
at the central office of PFI and functions under the
leadership of the Executive Director of PFI. The PMU
coordinates all activities, monitor and evaluate the
programme. State Program Coordination Units are set up in
all the 6 states. A
State Coordinator heads each State Unit.
An Assistant State Coordinator assists the State
Coordinator.

of PMU for
the GFATM project is as follows::

Governing
Board of PFI
The
Governing Board of PFI consists of eminent personalities from
industry, medicine, law,management and bureaucracy.
It meets once every quarter and is responsible for
policy decisions on all issues. The Governing Board has
delegated certain financial and administrative powers to the
Executive Director and Secretary and Treasurer for effective
functioning of the Foundation.
Project
Advisory Board
PFI
has set up the Project Advisory Board. This is the main advisory body for the project.
The members of the PAB include external experts in the
field of HIV/AIDS, members of the core sub-grantees and some
governing board members of PFI.
They will review the progress of the project from time
to time and provide guidance to the proposed future
activities.
