About Field  NGOs (FNGOs)

The role of the FNGOs is to conduct baseline survey and develop proposal based on baseline data. To provide provision of RCH services as proposed, interact for convergence with ICDS, rural development and anganwadi initiatives. It also provides RCH orientation to PRI members, members of Mahila Samakhya, NYK, Swa Shakti, Mahila Swasthya and others.

FNGOs share information on the type of services that are available from the government health infrastructure. It assists in creating conducive working environment for the ANM. FNGOs also facilitate the monthly RCH camps conducted by the PHC through mobilization of the community.

FNGOs are responsible for timely submission of quarterly progress reports, utilization certificates etc. as per agreement with the MNGOs. They handle documentation and maintenance of records and registers.
